Directions
This applet explores distributions of sample means from the U.S. population, 15 and over. You can select the sample size at the top left of the screen and select the number of trials at the bottom. Note that the total number of trials accumulates as you press the buttons. For example, if you press the "10" button twice, the total number of trials will be 20. To start over, press the "Reset" button. The actual sample means are displayed in a table to the right, and their frequencies are graphed above.
